Terms of Use

1. Parties and Acceptance

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to everyone who uses the Equinow mobile application and the equinow.app website ("Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you are under 13 years of age, you may not use the Service.

2. Account

• Your account is opened with a one-time code sent to your email address; you are responsible for the security of your account.
• You may close your account at any time via Settings → Delete my account.
• An account may be opened only in a person's own name; accounts impersonating others are closed.

3. Community Rules and Content (Zero Tolerance)

On Equinow, users may share content (posts, comments, photos, profile information). Zero tolerance applies to the following, and detected content/accounts are removed:

• Harassment, hate speech, threats, bullying,
• Obscene, violent or unlawful content,
• Content that praises/encourages practices contrary to animal welfare,
• Spam, misleading information, sharing that infringes another's intellectual property,
• Sharing other users' personal data without permission.

You can report inappropriate content using the in-app report feature and block users. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours at the latest; infringing content is removed and, if necessary, the account is suspended or closed.

4. Content Licence

You own the content you share. So that we can provide the Service (hosting, displaying, creating thumbnails/previews of your content), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence. When you delete your content, this licence ends apart from reasonable technical periods.

5. Disclaimer

• Riding is by its nature a sport that involves risk. The data on Equinow (route, duration, speed, statistics) is for informational purposes only; it is not training, safety or veterinary advice.
• GPS and sensor measurements may be inaccurate depending on device and environmental conditions.
• The user who shares content is responsible for it and for the accuracy of facility/horse information.

6. Changes to the Service

We may add, change or remove features in order to improve the Service. Significant changes to the Terms are announced within the app or by email; your continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.

7. Termination

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice. You may also delete your account at any time.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye; the Istanbul (Çağlayan) Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction over disputes.
